Account data: your email address, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Activity data: GPS routes (latitude, longitude, timestamp, altitude), distance, pace, elevation, calories, and notes you add to walks, runs, and rides you record in the app.
Device platform (iOS or Android) used to sign in.
Subscription status reported by the App Store or Google Play when you purchase. We never see or store payment card details.
GPS location is collected only while you are actively recording an activity, including in the background with your permission, so your route can be mapped.
Location tracks are stored against your account so you can review your history. We do not track your location outside of recorded activities.
To provide the tracking, history, and stats features of the app.
To verify purchases and manage access.
To notify you at launch if you join the launch email list on this site.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We share data only with the service providers required to operate the app (hosting, app store receipt verification), each bound to protect it, and where required by law.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app or via our account deletion page. Deletion removes your activities and routes and cannot be undone.
The Mileage Lab is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
